what mae been doin, again

hi! i’ve been busy working away at something I’ve always wanted to work on at some point, and that is a webcomic :) I’ve been spending several weeks thinking of ideas and worldbuilding, and thinking about some main characters and what exactly I want to do with them. it’s been a main occupier of my time at this point, and unfortunately has led to a stall in content here. sorry about that! rest assured, I do have a few project files laying around for drawings that I’ve occasionally gone back to and chipped away at whenever I get sick of webcomic work for a bit! they’ll be out whenever they’re done.

you may have seen mention of things on other places if you keep up with me on other places, mainly FA. the webcomic is going to be called “Lotten”, named after the main character of the story. while I expect the webcomic to be on the mature audiences side of things, it’s not outright intended to be a horny, pornographic thing, as much content tends to be on here, soz. in order to better establish this divide in content, and to make my life as a webmaster easier, the webcomic will be launching over at lotten.maeworl.xyz rather than on maeworl.xyz. there’s nothing there at the moment, as I still want to get a decent amount of pages properly planned and scribbled out before I attempt to complete and post them weekly-ish. wish me luck!!!!!!!!!

i’m not much of a writer, and my art, while improved from where I started, isn’t extraordinary, but I intend for the webcomic to be something new to enjoy doodling away at for the long-term. I’ll be having a think about how exactly I intend to license the work as well, as I see it being necessary to consider something different from CC0 with a whole webcomic and its associated characters, setting and such. something that’s still free cultural I’m sure, though.
