answers to questions people frequently, sometimes, and never ask me!

Last updated: 2024/11/17

general

do you do commissions and other paid work?

not for now. I want more confidence, skill, and speed in my work. if this changes, I'll let you know.

do you do trades or collabs?

nope, tried it, felt too much like an obligation (and sometimes something I felt forced into!!), rather than fun. I also deeply care about my works being free use, and don't want to deal with being unable to release a work freely because of another's characters or concepts being included.

requests?

not at this time, no. that being said, posting your thoughts and ideas in the comments of my works is fine! don't expect anything to come of it tho, or you'll end up disappointed.

is fanart okay?

yes! it's always nice to see what others end up creating, and it's a nice boost to my mood for the day :) I keep all the fanart I've received over the years in a little folder, it makes me happy when I look at it.

what do you use for drawing?

I work digitally. for software, I use either Krita or Clip Studio Paint for completing a work, and GIMP for handling exports. in older works on PC (before 2020), I used Paint Tool SAI.

regarding hardware, I use a Huion Kamvas Pro 20 (2019). for older works, I used old Wacom pad tablets (Wacom Intuos Comic and Wacom Bamboo). for a brief period, I also used an iPad Pro 12.9" for drawing in Procreate.

how did you make this website?

I typed it all up in a text editor by hand! lots of people should give it a go, think of it like customising your tumblr blog if you had one of those... personal websites are a real nice thing to have in a modern Internet, you always can have a safe haven of sorts that's as isolated as you want it, that looks and works how you want, that hosts what you want (within reason, yeh yeh)

how can I contact you?

contact me on websites where I upload my work. I do my best to check all places daily. pls be nice!

can I contact you someplace else?

no.

do you RP?

no.

would you like a commission from me?

probably not, no! please don't contact me to advertise!

what happened to your twitter?

I got outta there. the site caused daily stress for me. I didn't like the witchhunting and cliques, the obligation to asskiss I felt I had to popular mutuals on there, and the specimen who now runs it. I made an effort to announce other places I can be found at in advance, but twitter actively suppressed posts that had a bunch of links (also blocking some posts that had links to certain socials!), so oh well.

will you join [website] so I can see your art there?

depends how I feel about it. generally, wherever i'm presently online is what I'm content with. usually not interested in more or less places than that. if there's enough interest in me doing so however, or a platform I currently use has its existence threatened enough (either entirely, or for what I do), I might jump ship to another place.

I noticed a lot of people head on over to bluesky recently, but I'm rather hesitant about trying a twitter type microblogging space again. even if it's not owned by an asshat, that sort of atmosphere is quite a popularity contest that does my head in

why don't you draw this kink/fetish I enjoy?

usually boils down to one or more of these points:

works related

can I redistribute / use / edit / do other things with your works?

yep! almost all works are dedicated to the public domain using a CC0 1.0 Universal public domain dedication. look for the CC0 mark next to an image in the archive, refer to the submission description, or contact me about the specific work to confirm! you can learn more by clicking here. please have a read before doing anything with my CC0 works!

keep in mind that even though you can freely use my CC0 works, that certain services don't want you doing so. sites may only allow you to upload what is entirely your own creation, and may not allow edits to existing content, even free use works.

can I use your CC0 works for generative artificial intelligence programs and similar?

yep, it's a public domain dedication, after all!

what about works without the "zero" logo?

while *I* don't care if you use those, those works aren't and cannot be dedicated to the public domain. usually, that's because I've used characters and things from IP I don't own.

that being said, *I* won't complain if you use such works, though! note that some rights may be reserved, however. you might piss someone off if what you want to use happens to be fanart I've done of someone's character, for example.

so, if you specifically need works that are free to use, you have to look for works with the CC0 mark. no exceptions.

what about commissioned works from you?

if you were the one that commissioned the work, you fully own the rights to it, and can do what you want with it. if you're not the commissioner, then ask them very nicely.

character specific

can i do X with your character(s)?

probably! my characters are to be enjoyed by everyone, so feel free to use them for many things, whether that be fanart, commissions, roleplay, inspiration for your own characters, as bases, etc.

there is no need to ask for permission, feel free to surprise me! but if you're doubtful, just get in contact with me.

why is müll called müll? do you know that it means "trash" in german?

yes, i knew that. here are the reasons, as copied from an e621 comment:

the lore reason: müll was named by her mother, a powerful witch who resided in south-west germany. her mother was seeking to finish her biggest project yet, a one-of-a-kind transformation brew that would turn any feral creature placed into it into an anthropomorphic being, which had never been done in this world. to accomplish this, she had to go through a few dozen cats and a few dozen batches of transformation brew. while the first few cats were given proper names, she found herself getting frustrated at failed concoctions which killed the cats involved. later, cats in the experimentation process were then given swears and various harsh descriptors as names in the midst of this frustration. finally, the last cat, müll (meaning rubbish), was chucked into the final brew. with a bright light and explosion, this last brew was successful. müll's cool with the name, and does miss her mother, who created her and died shortly after because of witch hunters nearby.

the real reason: wanted to make furry creacher and was learning german at the time and picked a random word

if you thought that was interesting, consider checking out her lore page! ...it's a work-in-progress.

I saw the witch cat with a cock. Is she trans, or a "futa"?

Müll is a cisgender woman. she is a pussy that was born with a pussy. she's magical, and excels in transformation magic. she uses this magic often to alter her genitals to whatever she likes, when she likes. she's not transgender, and is comfy with her identity as is. sometimes, she just likes having fun with a cock only, or even both a cock and a pussy!

regarding the "futa" part: by default, she's not a futanari character and only has a pussy. in certain works, she is seen with both a pussy and a cock, which then makes that specific piece a futanari piece.

futanari requires the presence of a cock (and optionally balls) on a feminine presenting character with all female sex characteristics intact (most importantly, a pussy is *still* present). this is the definition. you are wrong if you say otherwise, and are doing a disservice to futanari enjoyers, transfems, and femboys all at once by corrupting the term. you also ruin tagging of works on boorus and similar places. stop, thanks.

most pieces featuring her with a cock are cock only, so she's a gynomorph in such genital transformation works. she's not transgender just because she's got a cock for an occasion. please refer to the tags on any uploads I do, and character details to guide you. always presume anal penetration is at play when you can't see under the balls :) if the work is a futanari work, I'll always make that clear to avoid confusion.

does müll have a collar? does she like collars?

nope, her mother never gave her one! conveniently, she does not like them. very embarrassing for her... mm. good to know :D

mae deets

what's your name?

my name is mae!

how old are you?

as of writing this, i'm in my mid 20s. yeh

where are you from?

australia, can you believe it

what's your art education background?

uh, there's not much of one... I did it as a subject in high school once or twice, and that's it. i'm mostly self-taught (the nerds call it being an autodidact). everything besides that has just been from me doodling things whenever I've wanted to. I do a little better each time, usually

...that's it for now. thanks for reading~
